There is no bigger supporter of classical music in Kansas City than John Schaefer. On this episode of The KC Arts Beat Report, Patrick Neas sits down with John to talk about his long and storied career in Kansas City, as long time organist at Grace and Holy Trinity Cathedral, and as man-about-town, who makes it to almost every classical music event. John also talks about his very popular weekly list of classical music events which he sends out. To be put on the list to have this wonderful calendar sent to your email, visit classicalkc.org.

I so enjoyed this informative conversation between the two reigning KC classical music czars of good taste. Thanks for sharing the fun!
