Jay Carter discusses PSALMS OF ASCENT
Musica Vocale conducted by Jay Carter and Ryan Olsen will present PSALMS OF ASCENT at 4 p.m. Nov. 22 at Rainbow Mennonite Church, 1444 Southwest Blvd, Kansas City, KS. This fascinating concert will feature settings of psalms that were chanted by pilgrims as ascended the ancient Temple steps in Jerusalem. Besides Monteverdi, Purcell and Bach, the concert also highlights the music of Jewish Baroque composer Salamone Rossi.
